The Wainwright Dinner - Craven County Democratic Party’s largest annual fundraiser – will feature speakers Lieutenant Governor Rachel Hunt and NC Supreme Court Justice Anita Earls.

William L. Wainwright (1947-2012) represented citizens of Craven and Lenoir Counties as a member of the NC House of Representatives for over two decades where he rose in leadership to serve as its first Black Speaker Pro Tempore since Reconstruction.
