This town hall will break down what happened during the October redistricting process, how mid-decade redistricting was pushed through, who the key decision-makers were, and the role the North Carolina Supreme Court played in allowing these maps to move forward.

When lawmakers in Raleigh redraw voting maps behind closed doors and ignore the voices of the communities most impacted, it’s up to the people to lead. This town hall is about accountability, transparency, and creating a space where community members can speak honestly about the harm caused by gerrymandering in Northeastern North Carolina.

This is a space to be heard, to ask questions, share frustrations, learn together, and talk collectively about where we go from here in the fight for fair maps and a democracy that truly represents all of us.
