Whether you're brand new to voter protection or have volunteered with with the Party before, these sessions are your entry point into the North Carolina Democrats' Voter Protection Team.
We'll introduce you to our Voter Protection program and the different ways you can get involved in 2026. Then, we will take a closer look at one of our biggest volunteer programs this fall: Poll Observing.
You'll learn what Poll Observers do, what you can expect at the polls, how training and scheduling work, and how you can help protect the vote in your community.
Poll observing isn't the only way to get involved. We also have opportunities to help with voter outreach and education, volunteer recruitment, voter assistance, and behind-the-scenes program support.
