Please join Democratic Women of Craven County on Saturday, May 2, from 10 am to 12 pm when they co-host the Democratic Women of NC Region 10 Convention.

The biennial event will take place at Craven County Democratic Headquarters, 1232 South Glenburnie Road, in New Bern. We are located in the Food Lion Shopping Center.

The keynote speaker will be Cramer Vaughn, president of DWNC; and guest speaker will be Marla Barthen, co-president of ERA-NC Alliance. A light brunch will be served.

New officers will be elected for Region 10 during the gathering. Nominations should be sent to Vickie Zangwill (frangzang@yahoo.com) before April 24.

In addition, each county's leadership is asked to present – either in person or via a printed report – highlights of their chapter.

Counties in Region 10 are Beaufort, Carteret, Craven, Dare, Hyde, Jones, Onslow, Pamlico, and Tyrrell.

Convention co-hosts are Carteret County Democratic Women.
